Maybe she's responsible. Maybe she isn't. Either way she doesn't appear to be too upset by the flaming wreck of a city behind her.

I'm looking for in-depth, picky critque. This is the first time I've tried to incorporate so many different elements into one piece (3D, photomanipulation, digital painting)
You may notice that this piece has a similarity in composition/subject matter to the tutorial image in the July 2005 issue of Computer Arts. Should be pretty obvious that I followed the tutorial.
I really enjoyed doing this piece and plan to do more like it. Any advice or feedback you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Nice, reminds me of some old dragonlance-type books I read a way back
Pickyness.... hmm.... one thing I'd suggest is maybe going for more of a letterbox format, there's a lot of sideways movement in this with the long skyline and the wind blowing her cape to one side... going for a wider format would highlight that a bit, maybe putting her more towards the left instead of so centered as well...
Her face is a little bit too bright even for bone white skin in that kind of light, and (as a properly picky point ) I've always thought those kind of huge eyes with such a fine boned face elfy look is a bit odd looking, how are eyes that big meant to fit into a skull that shape?
That kind of thinking might just be a hangover from too many years doing a hardscience degree though
Another thing is that the cloak isn't quite as 'well done' as the rest of the clothes, it just looks too smooth to be real... in a similar vein I'd have liked to have seen a few little nicks and cuts in the rest of her clothes, say in the forearms... it's those little imperfections that add realism to this kind of thing for me... no matter how good they are, no-one walks out of that kind of mess without a few scratches
Oh yeah, maybe add a few burning windows, etc. and a few more layers to the skyline... would make it look more interesting in and of itself while still acting as a nice background...
